Multi-meaning Words Activity.

Hi Standard Two Jacobs,
As you know we are studying multi-meaning words in Vocabulary, this exercise will give you more practice in using them. Here's what you have to do:
1. Visit this website
http://www.webenglishteacher.com/vocab2.html
2. Click on the link Words with Multiple meanings.
3. Next click on the link- Fifty Words with Multiple Meanings.
4. Choose two multi-meaning words from the list.
5. Compose two sentences with each word.
6. Write the word and the meaning above each sentence.
7. Each sentence must show a different meaning for the word.
8. Highlight the context clues used in each sentence to understand the meaning of the word.
9. Remember to check the Blog Rubric to ensure that you have done all that is needed.
10. Post your blogs as comments.
11. Comment on two of your classmates blog.

Here's an example:
First Word- ring
ring
- a piece of jewellery.
I bought a gold ring for my mother.

ring- to give a loud sharp noise.
We heard the bell ring at four o'clock.

Second Word- bark
bark -the sound a dog makes.
My dogs bark loudly at night.

bark- the outer layer of a tree.
The bark can be use to make belts.
